Mud, a new spa in Chicago, is offering $40 breast milk facials. Apparently breast milk has all sorts of health benefits; infants obviously love breast milk but now adults with sensitive skin and a penchant to try anything under the sun for the sake of their looks will fall prey to it too. Shama Patel, owner of the spa said the breast milk add-on for her salon will come from Chicago-area milk banks from screened and approved donors. It will cost $10. She said the milk will be mixed with white clay to form a special mask which can be applied to the face.
We have heard of a lot of mommies using breast milk benefits on their infants for rashes and other uses but I definitely have my reservations when it comes to using breast milk on my face. Too much for the sake of beauty. I’ll settle for chocolate, what about you?
